The Department of Special Education aims to cultivate special education theorists
and experts in special education-related fields by exploring the theory and practice of special education. In order to achieve this goal, students systematically study the curriculum, teaching and learning, educational evaluation, and educational research in the areas of communication, hearing impairment, retardation, multiple, health disorder, emotional, behavioral and learning disability, intellectual disability, and developmental retardation to develop the skills applicable to special education practice.
