特殊教育系是培养具有专业能力的特殊教师，
以诊断和评价具有特殊教育需求的各种学生的教育需求，并计划和适用适当教育方法的专业。昌原大学特殊教育系的目的在于，让学生探求各种残疾领域的学生特点、诊断评价方法、个别化教育计划、特殊教育课程和授课理论，提高将它应用于教育现场的应用能力，具备专门教师的资质，为社区和韩国的特殊教育做出贡献。
