第一，理解时尚产品的原材料、企划、设计、生产、流通及销售等各领域，并学习与此相关的知识，同时学习时尚产业专家所应具备的基本知识及消费者时尚产品管理知识。
第二，有效地结合这些基本知识和尖端信息及新技术，以进行产业现场管理，并提高能够积极应对的能力。
第三，与区域内纤维时尚产业紧密联系，同时了解纤维时尚产业的全球市场，培养具有超前意识和国际感的高级专业人员。
第四，为此让学生学习IT、CAD、CAM生产技术，通过相关企业参观及现场实习、现场项目、企业工作人员特讲学会实务，每年举行时装系列及展览活动，以提高创意性和能动性。
