School of Humanities (Open Major Track)

Students design their own academic plans and explore a variety of subjects in the field of humanities over the course of a year, allowing them to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge in the humanities. Through this process, they can discover the academic field that best suits their aptitude and, starting from their second year, select one of seven majors in the humanities—such as languages, history, or philosophy—as their primary major. By progressing through self-directed learning and an intensive, step-by-step major curriculum, students are given the opportunity to grow into interdisciplinary talents equipped for the demands of the 21st century.
