物理学是基础科学和高科技的基础,是对自然界固有技术的研究。

物理系的教育目标在于,找到自然界固有的秩序,并为基础科学领域和高科技做出贡献,培养出有助于国家和人类发展的物理学专家。为了实现这一目标,作为基础课程主要对古典力学、电磁学、量子力学进行教育,作为应用课程对固体物理学、粒子物理学、光学和核物理学进行教育。还有,由于物理学是基于实验的科学,因此提供有关物理学实验的教育,培养出能与边缘学科相连接和适应于学术变化的能力。
