国际关系学系的教育目标在于,

培养出在全球化时代对各国之间相互依存日益加深的全球变化方面具有专业知识的学者。为此,该系将其专业分为两个方面。首先,比较政治专业的目标在于,在北美、东北亚、东南亚、西南亚、欧洲、中东、非洲、俄罗斯、东欧和中南美中选择特定地区,基于对此全面的知识,培养相关地区的政治经济、与韩国的关系方面的专业知识。然后是国际政治专业,该专业的目标是培养出对世界秩序和制度、国家之间的冲突与合作、国家之间富和贫困问题等方面具有专业知识的人才。
