环境工学系的教育目标如下。

随着人口的增长,地球上的资源和能源逐渐枯竭,随着城市化和工业化的发展,人类使用的材料日益多样化,这一些的变化伴随着各种环境污染问题。因此,我们在追求维持全球健康环境的同时可持续的发展,并需要充分了解资源和能源的使用和环境保护之间的相关关系,并建立互补的体系。该系的教育目标在于,系统化地分析水质、空气污染和废物等各种环境污染问题的原因和对策,并获得解决这些问题的工程学知识,从而提高可维持健康环境的新技术研发能力和学术资质。为了实现这些目标,该系对每个专业领域提供高级教育,并致力培养专业人才。
