Statistics offers basic methodologies in academic research in various fields which include surveying, market demand forecasting
price surveying, efficacy analysis of pharmaceuticals and quality control. It also includes medicine, biology and engineering, and psychology and economics. The Department of Statistics aims to foster statistics practitioners through various practical training with hands-on equipment such as computers and conducting surveys. In addition, the department aims to foster talented individuals who can play a leading role in the field of applications.
