Korean Language School Admission

Registration and Admission Process

Document submission (postal mail / visit) ▶ Document review ▶ Notification of results ▶ Payment of tuition fee ▶ Issuance of Certificate of Admission ▶ Applying for visa in home country ▶ Entry and training participation

Required Documents                 

Required documents can be different depending on student's nationality, visa status, etc.

If you are applying for a new D-4 visa
  • ① Application form (including photographs), self-introduction letter, and resume (one form each)
  • ② Consent form for collection, use and provision of personal information (refer to form application guideline)
  • ③ Passport copy and identification card (including parents)
  • ④ One original copy of English notarization of graduation certificate and transcript
  • 1 copy offinal certificate

    Documents such as Apostille-accredited degree

    Korean Consulate in your country or diplomatic consulate in your country

    Certification Report issued by the Chinese Education Ministry

  • ⑥ 1 original copy of notarized certificate of kinship (or birth certificate)
  • ⑦ One copy of employment certificate (including income statement) for parents (or guarantor)
  • Original copy of bank balance certificate ( more than $ 10,000 ) (name of the applicant / parent / identity guarantor)

    Only documents issued within the last month

    However, Chinese and Vietnamese applicants must freeze for at least 6 months.

    When submitting the name of the guarantor, one copy of the guarantor is required

If you hold a visa for 90 days or longer than 90 days in Korea
  • ① Application form, self-introduction letter, resume (refer to the form application guide)
  • ② One copy of consent form for collection, use and provision of personal information (refer to form application guideline)
  • ③ Copy of passport and copy of alien registration card
  • ④ Original copy of bank balance certificate ((based on 2,000 $ for 3 months, 4,000 $ for 6 months)) (1)

    Only documents issued within the last month

    1 copy of identity guarantee card

Fees

  • Tuition: KRW 1,200,000 / semester
  • Insurance: KRW 150,000 / year (based on international student group injury insurance)              
  • Textbook Fee: KRW 64,000 / semester, individual purchase required
  • Dormitory Fee: KRW 450,000 ~ 750,000 (depending on the building type you choose)
  • Dormitory Meal Plan: KRW 200,000 ~ 600,000 (depending on the meal plan you choose)         

Tuition deposit account

  • Bank Name: National Agricultural Cooperative Federation           
  • Bank Account: 301-0124-0069-01
  • Account holder: Changwon National University
  • Applicant should pay for the overseas remittancecharge            
  • You must send money under the applicant's name. No checks or credit cards will be accepted.
  • Confirmation after deposit: Make a deposit in the applicant's name (or other person's name) and confirm by wire, fax or e-mail
