By providing practical usage of modern up-to-date German language to students,
the main goal of this department is to cultivate abilities that will help them in specific roles necessary in the international society. In order to achieve this, all emphasis is placed on the ability to master the German language. This can be realized by teaching the language through a hands-on approach to German culture and history. In the Department of German Language and Literature, students will be able to introduce, analyze, and have discussions about related topics and learn to seek and solve problems on their own through the teachings by professors in both literature and language.
