The Department of Art aims to foster pure art experts.
It is a long history department that has been in since 1979 and has been provided with creative art education by excellent faculty and lecturers. Through visual arts practical education and humanities knowledge cultivation of Korean painting, western painting, and practical sculpture majors, each student has established his or her identity as a creative artist. Each major has a variety of facilities such as a computer lab, a printing room, a ceramic room, a steel frame room, and a woodworking room. Digital media classes such as photography, video, 3D moving images, and animation are provided. Students are also accumulating professional experience as prospective artists by holding regular exhibitions at the Changwon University Museum and the Art University Exhibition Room. The Department of Fine Arts serves as a living room for creative professionals in the global era through active exchange with the world's leading art universities.
