제목: Obstacle problems in curvature flows
초록: The obstacle problem, the equilibrium of a membrane constrained to lie above a given obstacle, is the model free boundary problem, intensively studied for decades. When the membrane is replaced by a surface moving by its curvature, the contact set and its free boundary evolve in time. In this talk, we introduce obstacle problems for geometric flows such as Gauss and mean curvature flows, where the obstacle can prevent the flow from developing singularities. We discuss the regularity of solutions, the free boundary, and the final shapes. This is joint work with Ki-Ahm Lee, in part with Hyunsuk Kang.
