Under the agreement with the industry, the department, where the business owners or employees enter and study, opened in 2011 with the quota of 30 students.
As of 2015, students are in their 20s to 50s, with many CEOs of SMEs, general corporate employees, and bank executives, showing various distributions of occupation, gender and age. It is the university's role to refine a human being into a completed person completed with diverse knowledge and culture in the freedom of the soul. Nevertheless, it is a shame that today's universities are turning into private educational institutes for employment. In this regard, the Dept. of Industrial Business is doing its best to realize the educational philosophy of the department, 「Fostering Elegant and Educated Intellectuals」, with the curriculum that universities should pursue.
