Architectural engineering is a field that studies the process

of solving various problems regarding human life such as human life style, customs, and culture by means of the study of architectural engineering. The focus is on creating a pleasant living environment in harmony with nature in the circumstances related to human needs, ranging from housing problems that contain human living to various problems of the city.

In addition, it is a comprehensive application art that must complementarily accept the problem of giving value as a formative art required by the era as a mirror of the era and the problem that must solve it in terms of engineering. Modern architecture faces serious problems such as problems with local culture, coexistence with the environment, integration of city and architecture, and harmony of technology and spirit, which are taking place with globalization. In a rapidly changing situation, the creation of a new architectural paradigm is required, and the emergence of creative and intuitive architects is expected. Thus, beyond the traditional architecture of simple combination of technology and art, it sets up a curriculum that combines theory and practice organically.

This department produces architects and architecture technicians who can respond to the diverse needs of modern society by equipping them with the professional knowledge of architecture that will create the stage of human activities and the basic skills necessary for becoming a healthy architect. It aims to cultivate professionals who contribute to the construction needs of the local community by providing practice-centered training that is useful in the field, rather than theory-centered education, and to teach students to have a broader perspective in preparation for international informatization and opening of the construction market.
