Industrial system engineering improves productivity and efficiency by reasonably designing,
operating, analyzing, evaluating and improving the integrated organizational system composed of humans, raw materials, facilities, energy, and information in a rapidly changing advanced industrial society. In order to achieve this goal, scientific analysis, judgment, organizational planning, and continuous creativity are required. Therefore, this department fosters creative and advanced science and technology personnel who will lead an advanced industrial society with balanced research fields such as industrial management, operational science, human-machine system, applied statistics, manufacturing system engineering, application of computer technology, industrial information system.
