Our department was established in 1988 for educating prospective environmental engineers. Since then it is evolving continuously as a promising department that participates in solving the global environmental issue. Since 2021, the name of the department is changed to the department of Environmental and Energy Engineering. We open various classes related to the traditional environmental field and the 4th industrial revolution.
Recently, our department is doing efforts to nurture talents in the field of “environmental and energy” through a well-organized curriculum, conversing with energy, ICT, and environmental engineering. In addition, we have many scholarship opportunities for students. Interesting research projects are conducted with various environmental topics such as waste resources and energy, micropollutant, environmental GIS system, and environmental big-data analysis.
We expect that our students will be outstanding and globalized environmental engineers after graduation. All faculty and staff in our department will do their best for better education.
