The Department of Information & Communication Engineering was established in 1998
and aims to train individuals to respond proactively to the rapidly changing environment of the IT sector.To nurture outstanding information and communication engineers, the department focuses on its educational training in basic theoretical and practical skills necessary for the telecommunications sector. It especially focuses on education and research and development for the fields of 5G mobile communication, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, big data, and applied technologies related to the 4th Industrial Revolution. Each professor has a laboratory and provides a research and development environment by working together with the students. In addition, by providing curriculum centered on practical training and design, the department offers training with state-of-the-art equipment so that graduates will be able to operate programs with the relevant technology.
