Upon its inception in 1979 at Masan College, the Department of Music at Changwon National University

has become the center of arts with programs in undergraduate, graduate and educational graduate schools. Currently, there are 192 students in the undergraduate program and 70 students in the graduate programs with 74 full-time and part-time professors who foster talent in music. The department is striving to realize its aim in achieving an educational goal not only for the local community, but to the world.
